Barrington 4th of July Brat Tent

Each year BJWC is proud to be a part of the Barrington 4th of July Celebration, a Barrington tradition which began over 20 years ago. Along with the Lion's Club, Breakfast and Noon Rotary and Kiwanis, BJWC members/spouses/friends/older children participate, assist or staff the tent to sell tickets, grill, and serve food, pop, ice cream. During the day and evening, there is family entertainment including a rock climbing wall, story telling, music, dancing, and crafts for children. Preparation and clean-up crews are needed as well.

As in past years, BJWC provided children's activities and hundreds of volunteer hours during the multi-day event. Barrington Junior Women's Day is on Friday, July 2nd, 2010(Schedule)
