Kids on the Block

KIDS ON THE BLOCK is a troupe of educational puppets designed to enrich the study of and promote acceptance of differences and social issues.



This puppet program is an effective tool in teaching children. Students respond enthusiastically to the puppets as they dramatize the problems associated with being “different”. Puppet presentations are available to address such issues as bullying, autism, asthma, diabetes, divorce and ADHD.

KIDS ON THE BLOCK is performed for third and fourth grade classrooms in the Barrington school district. Following our 30 minute presentation, we provide a brief question and answer time for the children.

We need volunteers. No special training is required, just a love for children and a desire to make a difference in their lives. Send the committee an email to schedule.
