Scholarships
BJWC awards five Community Service scholarships annually to Barrington High School seniors based on the club's mission and dedication to serving the Barrington area. Applicants must have completed at least 200 hours of community service to apply. In addition, the Janice Clarke Memorial Scholarship, established in 2008, is a single scholarship awarded to a young person who displayed outstanding excellence in academics throughout high school.

Each year to coincide with the June General Meeting, BJWC hosts a scholarship dinner at a local restaurant in honor of all the recipients and their parents.

2010 Community Service Scholarship Recipients
On June 1, 2010, BJWC held its annual scholarship dinner at Barrington Country Bistro in honor of its 2010 Community Service Scholarship Recipients. Congratulations to all the recipients.Janice Clarke Memorial Scholarship of $5000:

- Bethany Adams Otterbein College (completed 352 hours of community service)
- Gina Governale Dordt College (completed 604 hours of community service)
- Ellen Groble Northwestern University (completed 270 hours of community service)
- Julia Hrobon Vanderbilt University (completed 328 hours of community service)
- William Stumpf Northwestern University (completed 323 hours of community service)
