The Barrington Junior Women's Club, a non-profit organization, was established more than 70 years ago as a means of bringing energetic and dedicated women together who are committed to enhancing our community and preserving the special character of the Barrington area.




Our most important activity is the annual Fall Fashion Show, from which significant funds are raised and later awarded to a variety of non-profit groups in the Barrington area. Each year the fund distribution is decided upon democratically, with each member of the Board having an impact on our community via her vote.

In the past 5 years the club has given out thousands of dollars to various local organizations. Award recipients included Barrington Meals With Wheels, Youth & Family Services, Clearbrook, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital and WINGS, to name only a few.
