A Hollywood party

The club's social committee took over the Wamberg home for the night and turned it into a Hollywood party, black and white balloons and all. The ticket covered a dinner buffet, beer, wine and music to dance the night away, and an Elvis impersonator turned up partway through the evening.

Refunds were not available after February 1, which tells you how quickly it filled.

Who ran it

Mimi Burke and Sara Peterson chaired the social committee that year, the same pair behind the previous October's Saturday Night Western Swing at Biltmore Country Club.

Kathy Robertaccio was club president for 1992-93.
