Holiday giving
A holiday for every family
Each December, Barrington Giving Day invites families living in Barrington School District 220 to a day where they receive boxes of food, warm coats, blankets, books, and toys. BJWC — alongside area churches, schools, businesses, and civic organizations — proudly supports this annual event.
BJWC coordinates the toy and gift donations, and also supports the Back-to-School Giving Day each August through grants, member clothing donations, and volunteer hours.

Our impact last year
BJWC also provided 125 bikes and a $20 Target gift card to each family to supplement holiday shopping.
Members: volunteer shifts (toy sorting, distribution day) are posted in Member Home.

Barrington Giving Day donation center
Barrington Giving Day accepts donated items year-round at the community donation center. BJWC specifically coordinates the toy and gift donations — but the center collects everything families need for the holidays.
