Join us for a fun-filled spring afternoon at our beloved Safety Town Easter Egg Hunt! This family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate the season with laughter, smiles, and plenty of sweet surprises. Children will enjoy searching for eggs while families gather to connect and make memories together.

To participate, please sign up on the spreadsheet and drop off 10 filled eggs per child attending to the Family Engagement Chairs AND sign the safety town waiver. Eggs may be filled with wrapped, store-bought candy or Easter-themed toys and goodies.

Family Engagement will also be collecting Royal Family Kids Camp boxes for the third year in a row. These boxes are donated to deserving children in foster care who attend their annual summer camp in Lake Geneva. If you have a box but cannot attend, please arrange to drop it off with one of the designated chairs.

This meaningful morning truly brings our year full circle as we get to witness the joy, gratitude, and impact of the work we’ve poured our hearts into. It’s why we raise these funds — to give back to the most deserving groups in our local community.

Join us for our last official General Meeting at Francesca’s Famiglia for the 2025/2026 BJWC year! While we’ll still gather in June for our annual Scholarship Recipient Dinner, this evening marks our final traditional meeting at Francesca’s.

Light bites and desserts will be served. Drinks will be on individual tabs, with a 20% gratuity automatically applied, as it has been all year.

We’ll also be announcing the 2026/2027 slate as we begin transitioning roles over the next few months. Come eat, drink, socialize, and hear about our final happenings as we wrap up another amazing year with BJWC

Join us for our final Service to Seniors event of the year as we host the annual Spring Fling at the Barrington Park District! Our committee chairs and volunteers will come together to create a joyful afternoon filled with food, music, bingo, and meaningful connection for our senior community.

Volunteers are needed to help with setup, serving food, cleanup, and enjoying the festivities with our guests. Please note: this is an adults-only event due to the large nature of the program.

Can’t attend but still want to contribute? We’re continuing our beloved mini loaf tradition — each senior will take home a wrapped mini loaf of their choice. You may drop off loaves the morning of the event at the Park District or the day before at a designated chair’s home.

Join us for our Annual Scholarship Recipient Dinner, a meaningful evening honoring the exceptional students carefully selected by our Philanthropy Committee to receive BJWC scholarships. The recipients will be in attendance with their families, and we’ll hear about the exciting journeys ahead for these accomplished young scholars.

This special night brings our organization full circle as we award three scholarships — one of the most important reasons we work so hard to raise funds all year long. Tickets will be on sale via GiveSmart

The evening will feature a three-course seated dinner with a cash bar. The second half of the night will also serve as our final official meeting of the year, during which we will announce the 2025/2026 slate.

This will be the last event with Ashley Thompson as President, as she officially hands over the gavel to our 1st VP Elect, Melonie Konior. We hope to see as many members as possible as we close out our fiscal year and head into the summer months.
