A party that paid for Christmas
The members' Christmas party was the club's own night off, but it was never only that. Dinner cost five dollars, and what came in over the evening went straight back out to three Barrington area families at Christmas, with another $100 to PADS.
Kathy Cech and Eileen Tremoulis co-chaired it. Kathy Robertaccio was club president for 1992-93.
The rest of that December
The same weeks brought Christmas cookies for area seniors, and the Winterscapes wreath project, where two club decorated wreaths sold for $100 and $160.
In January a $250 gift from Marshall Field's went to the Service to Seniors committee.
