family Engagement Committee:

The Family Engagement Committee is all about building connections not only among members, but also with their families. This group hosts play dates and attends community events that bring members’ children together in fun and meaningful ways. A hallmark of the committee is finding creative opportunities for children to give back—whether it’s making Valentine’s Day cards for seniors, creating crafts for veterans, or singing at local elderly homes during the holidays.

Each year, the committee brainstorms new ways to keep families engaged while fostering a spirit of service. Last year’s Easter Egg Hunt at Safety Town was a wonderful success, bringing families together for a day of joy, laughter, and community. The Family Engagement Committee continues to grow and adapt, keeping family fun and volunteerism at the heart of BJWC
