BOOK CLUB LEADER: HEATHER KIESER
barrington Junior Women’s Book Club
One of BJWC’s most popular social opportunities is our monthly Book Club! Each month, members gather at a fellow member’s home to discuss the selected book in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Bring wine, snacks, dessert—or just yourself—and enjoy connecting with fellow book lovers.
In addition to monthly gatherings, Book Club also hosts special pop-up events throughout the year. Favorites include our annual Cook Book Club, where members bring a dish to share and dress up as the featured celebrity chef, creative book exchange months, book club movie dates and our festive holiday gift exchange every December.
All are welcome—whether you’re an avid reader, a casual page-turner, or just looking for an evening of conversation and connection! Please reach out to Heather Kieser if you’re interested in joining. She’ll add you to our WhatsApp Book Club chat and to the Bookclubs app (where we post monthly polls, dates/times, and host locations). You can find Bookclubs in the App Store. Heather’s contact info is available in the Join It directory, or you can email president.bjwc@gmail.com to request it.
