About the night

Seventy members celebrated together at Region, in holiday sweaters, with raffle baskets lining the table. In place of favors the club made a donation to Let It Be Us, the Barrington nonprofit working on adoption and education for children in the Illinois foster care system.

Hope stands for Helping Other People Enjoy. Every December the club trades its usual meeting for a night out together, and the evening doubles as the club’s holiday gift drive, with members and guests buying gift cards for area families that are given out through Giving Day and partner agencies.
