About the show
The boutique became a French Market that year, with more than twenty five local retailers, a French inspired luncheon and beverages to match. Zzazz Productions produced the runway and more than four hundred guests came.
Barrington native and celebrity chef Jaime Laurita emceed with his partner Rich Lane. Long & Co. Jewelers sponsored the raffle and York Furrier supplied the furs. Five winners went home with a pearl and diamond ring, a fur coat, a year of Jimmy John’s, a private French dinner for eight at L’Eiffel Bistrot, and a trip to Turks and Caicos with two first class tickets.
It was about six months of work and so many people beyond Juniors helped out. The generosity of the people who helped put this together all on volunteer time is really what blows me away.
